As an SEO Executive at the company, I got to work on various aspects of digital marketing, ranging from content writing to On and Off-page search engine optimization. This case study highlights my SEO strategy developed to improve their search engine ranking, drive organic traffic, and boost content visibility.

“SEO strategy for improving SERP ranking”
Project Outcome: Optimized the content to improve the search engine ranking of different course pages.
With rise in competition from other online course providers, Intellipaat noticed a drop in the search engine results pages (SERPs) ranking for its course pages. Therefore, it was crucial to implement a targeted strategy to improve their position on SERPs and attract qualified leads.
To organically drive targeted traffic on the website, I, along with my team of digital marketers, came up with a comprehensive search engine optimization (SEO) strategy.
Some of the key points to consider during the implementation of the strategy were:
Conduct regular competitor analysis
Get regular feedback and analysis of the changes made
To start with, I conducted intense keyword research to identify the high-value search words, using tools like Semrush and Ahrefs. I analyzed the company’s current keyword rankings and performed competitor research to identify gaps and opportunities. Based on this I then created several keyword sheets for different course pages on the website, detailing the use of the existing keywords and suggested the content revisions on the course pages.
Along with that, I also took note of the keywords used in the meta title, H1 and meta description to further improve the organic search by keywords.
I created several new blog articles using the main keywords. In addition to that, I also optimized the existing articles by updating their content, meta title, H1 and meta description by creating more keyword sheets for each blog, along with analyzing the competitor blogs.
Another important thing that helped in improving the ranking of the blog posts and consequently the course pages was the adding more organic interlinks to the content.
Another important aspect of the SEO strategy was backlinking, as a part of Off-page SEO. I performed competitor backlink analysis and identified relevant, high-authority websites with the use of tools such as Ahrefs, Hunter.io and Moz. I sent outreach emails for building relationships to webmasters whose website had good traffic and domain authority with low spam score.
Through guest posting and content collaboration, I successfully generated backlinks that improved the Intellipaat's domain authority and SEO visibility.
This is turn resulted in improving the SERP rankings for both blogs and course pages.
This project helped me understand the importance of a holistic SEO approach, combining keyword research, content creation, and optimization. The result was a measurable improvement in organic traffic and search rankings for Intellipaat. By aligning content with search intent and regularly monitoring the performance every keyword had on the ranking, I helped position the company for long-term success in a highly competitive digital space.
